The PDPL Compliance Tool is a compliance assistance and management tool intended to help organisations understand, track, and improve their compliance with UAE PDPL requirements. It is expressly not a substitute for professional legal advice.
The Website, its owners, developers, and operators accept no liability for:
- Any regulatory penalties, fines, sanctions, or legal consequences incurred by users or their organisations
- Compliance gaps, deficiencies, or violations identified or missed through the use of this tool
- Inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in the question bank, generated documents, compliance scores, or recommendations
- Any decisions made, actions taken, or actions not taken based on information provided by this tool
- Data breaches, security incidents, or any loss, corruption, or unauthorised access to data
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any kind
Users bear full responsibility for their compliance decisions and should engage qualified legal counsel for all PDPL compliance matters.
3. Data Localisation
In compliance with UAE PDPL requirements, all data processed through this Website is stored and processed exclusively on Oracle Cloud servers physically located within the United Arab Emirates. No personal data leaves UAE jurisdiction. This ensures compliance with the data localisation requirements of UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021.
4. User Accounts & Security
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities conducted under their account. Any unauthorised use of accounts must be reported immediately to the organisation's DPO. The Website employs industry-standard security measures including encryption, access controls, and session management.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, code, design, and functionality of this Website are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without explicit permission, except as necessary for their organisation's internal compliance use.
